    Frequently asked questions

    Pricing

    When am I charged?

Not until early access opens and you choose to start. Reserving is free and takes nothing but your email, no card. It also holds the price you see here, so it's waiting for you when you begin.

What will the providers cost me?

Each provider bills you directly at its own prices, and that money never passes through Fairwind. Most new apps fit comfortably on free tiers. Once you have paying users, a typical app pays about $45 a month, for example Vercel Pro and Supabase Pro, plus Stripe's fee on each sale and around $12 a year for the domain. The example in “Yours from day one” lets you try other providers and plans.

What do I get on Free?

One project, taken all the way: the full production readiness check, every fix proven, and a live launch on accounts you own. Free apps show a small “Shipped with Fairwind” badge. Builder adds watching every change, monitoring and alerts, help reaching your first users, and no badge.

How do you connect me to my first users?

Every free app's badge links to a showcase of apps on paid plans, so each app that ships with Fairwind sends a little traffic toward the showcase. On Builder and Pro your app is featured there, and your own pages stay badge-free.

    Your accounts

Can I use accounts I already have?

Yes, and it's often the quickest way to start. Connect the accounts you already use, like Supabase, Vercel or Stripe, and we set up what's missing around them. Anything you don't have yet, we create in your name, so it's yours from the first day.

Do you need my passwords or keys?

Never your passwords. You approve access through each provider's own sign-in, the same way you'd connect any other app, and you can see or remove that access in the provider's settings. The keys your app needs, we set up and rotate for you, so you never have to paste one into a chat or a config file.

    Who owns the app?

You do. Every account is in your name and billed to you by the provider, your code stays in your own repo, and your data is always exportable. We set it all up and help keep it in shape; the app and everything it runs on stay yours.

    How it works

What does the production readiness check cover?

31 things that most often break when real people start using an app: who can see which data, sign-in on your real domain, payments and webhooks, live and test keys, email setup, secrets, backups and restores, error tracking and uptime, rate limits and spend caps, and privacy and account deletion. Every finding comes with a plain explanation and the exact fix for your AI, and it only counts as fixed once it passes again.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. If you can ask your AI to change something, you can use Fairwind. We tell your AI exactly what to change and check that it worked, so the work happens in the tool you already know. If you do code, every finding also shows the files and the evidence.

Which AI tools does it work with?

Apps built with Lovable, Cursor, Claude Code, Replit, Bolt, v0 or Codex, and you keep building with yours exactly as you do now. Using something else? Reserve anyway and tell us what it is. It helps us decide what to support next.

Does passing the check mean nothing can go wrong?

No tool can promise that, and we won't. Passing means your app was checked against the 31 things that most often go wrong at launch, and every fix was proven to work. Fairwind doesn't write your legal pages or sign off on your launch; you decide when to ship.

    Where do alerts go?

To your email, on Builder and Pro. Each alert says what changed, what it affects and what to do next, in plain words, so you can act on it in a minute.

    When does early access open?

Soon, in waves, and reserved spots get in first. We'll email you when yours opens, and your reserved price comes with you. Until then, the note you can leave after reserving goes straight to the people building Fairwind.

    Reserve your spot.
